PHOTOS: Too $hort Performing at Good Karma 2023

Too $hort took the stage in the middle of the day, around 3PM, to an extremely excited crowd. He entered to a roaring applause in a style best summed up by his signature, and introductory, phrase— “What’s My Favorite Word?!”

The performance that followed was one of the handful of hip hop performances witnessed on either of the two stages on November 4, 2023. Remember, this was the first major hip hop performance that Santa Clarita Valley had witnessed since Aptil 17, 1993 when the supergroup T.L.C. took the stage across town in Valencia!

The energy poured out by Too $hort was unmatched, yet it set a vibe for the rest of the evening. Each performer who entertained the audience throughout the day contributed to a beautiful community celebration of music, art, and diversity. Audience members of all ages enjoyed this colorful and energetic performance. We would very much like to invite Too $hort back to our stage again!
